VISION

Nuclear Radiation Detectors Application and Research Center (NURDAM); To create a technological infrastructure for the production of detectors, sensors and medical / personal radiation dosimeters in global standards that our country needs and will contribute to the development of the country, using these infrastructures personally, various patents, prototypes / commercial products, software, etc. It considers it a duty to produce outputs such as directly, to train qualified scientists in this field and to meet the social needs of the country in this field in the best way from a technological point of view.

MISSION

Nuclear Radiation Detectors Application and Research Center (NURDAM);

  • Being the main driving driver of Turkey's R&D in the field of Sensor Technologies, especially nuclear radiation detectors/sensors.
  • Providing the infrastructure and laboratory facilities that universities, public and private institutions need in their research and development activities, in a sustainable way, to these institutions,
  • By constantly updating itself according to today's technology, supporting interdisciplinary and inter-institutional scientific studies and projects, integrating existing scientific and technological knowledge with industry, playing an active role in increasing the pace of development of our country, making this a corporate culture,
  • Using the infrastructures it has, patents, prototypes/commercial products, software, etc. in the field of interest. and producing scientific publications,
  • To become a leading research center that continuously increases the recognition and prestige of the center by training the manpower required in its field of activity.
