Our university's Nuclear Radiation Detectors Application and Research Center (NÜRDAM) is preparing to produce Turkey's first domestic and national dose calibrator. The project, which aims to reduce dependence on foreign sources by enabling the production of these vital devices used in the healthcare sector with local resources, has been granted support under the TÜBİTAK 3501 Career Development Program.

The project is led by our Center's Deputy Director and Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rıfkı TERZİOĞLU. The research team includes Assoc. Prof. Dr. Billur ÇALIŞKAN, Dr. Lecturer Yalçın KALKAN, Dr. Lecturer Mithat ÖNDER, Dr. Lecturer Burhan BARAKLI, and Dr. Lecturer Can YÜZKOLLAR.
