NÜRDAM Micro/Nano Semiconductor Technology Production Course

A NÜRDAM micro-nano systems production course will be organized, which can be attended by engineers and technical staff working in the industry, as well as students pursuing master's and doctoral programs. The course will be application-oriented, with theoretical lessons on production provided in designated classrooms before the practical sessions. The internationally-standard training will last 5 days, and participants who pass the final exam will receive a certificate of participation from our institution. The theoretical and practical lessons, delivered by experts in the field, will start with the fundamentals of semiconductor industry and conclude with the production stages and applications of micro/nano devices.

The training will be held at the NÜRDAM central laboratory located on the Gölköy campus of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University. NÜRDAM, which hosts all the necessary equipment for the production of micro/nano systems, such as photolithography, wet and dry etching systems, plasma CVD, diffusion furnaces, and thermal processing devices, is unique in our country in this regard.

The devices produced will be analyzed for performance and technological suitability using the equipment available at NÜRDAM. At the end of the program, the produced and evaluated devices will be awarded to participants as gifts, based on their performance.

This training will be highly beneficial for young participants working in the semiconductor sector. Similar training programs offered by other institutions in our country are usually superficial or fragmented. NÜRDAM, with its European-standard facilities, will offer both production and characterization processes as a whole, making it a pioneering institution in our country.

Additionally, this course will provide an excellent experience for engineers and technical staff who work with photonic systems or devices but lack knowledge about basic production stages. The course also contains unique information and experiences for academics, doctoral, and master's students interested in semiconductor technologies.

Course details will be announced on NÜRDAM’s website in the future.

This course aims to teach the production stages of microprocessors, which are commonly used in electronic circuits in our country. It will cover the production and characterization processes of micro/nano technologies, which are widely known worldwide but unfortunately not yet actively implemented in our country. I wish success to the participants in this groundbreaking course that aims to achieve a first in our country.
