Our Quality Policies:
As the Nuclear Radiation Detectors Application and Research Center, our aim is to carry out scientific, technical, theoretical/applied R&D, and training activities with a focus on high-level stakeholder satisfaction and continuous improvement. Specifically:
- In all processes: To be a reliable and preferred research center that fully meets the needs and expectations of our stakeholders.
- To closely follow international technological developments and implement practices that add value to the national economy.
- Within the framework of quality systems: To continuously raise the quality level by emphasizing teamwork and ensuring that all personnel use their competencies and skills to the highest level.
- To ensure that all personnel are aware of quality.
- To maintain a trust-based collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.
- To continually improve existing infrastructure to enhance the international recognition of our center, our university, and Turkey.
- To manage our process operations effectively and take preventive measures against potential negative outcomes based on risk factors.
- To adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
- To prepare and provide education opportunities relevant to the field based on institutional needs and external stakeholder feedback in graduate education.
These are defined as our Center’s Quality Policies.
Employee Belonging and Satisfaction:
To increase the sense of belonging and motivation among staff working within the center, the following measures have been established by the Center Management Board in Decision No. 10 (X) dated 24.03.2023:
- If sufficient budget is available in the center’s revolving fund, an award not exceeding 1,000 TL will be given to the full-time staff with the highest academic incentive score.
- If sufficient budget is available, an award not exceeding 1,000 TL will be given to staff who contribute the most to publications while performing experimental work at NÜRDAM but are assigned to other units.
- Congratulations letters will be prepared and sent by the Center Management for staff who achieve significant milestones, such as academic title promotions or project acceptances.
- Positive discrimination will be applied to female staff, with Service Appreciation Certificates being issued on International Women's Day.
- Meetings with center employees will be held at least twice a year, during which their opinions will be listened to by senior management, and appropriate improvement actions will be implemented.
