Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Nuclear Radiation Detectors Application and Research Center (NÜRDAM) and the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (IEE-SAS) have received approval for an international bilateral cooperation project supported by TÜBİTAK and SAS.
The project will be conducted under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şenol Kaya, with valuable contributions from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rıfkı Terzioğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fırat Karaboğa, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Yılmaz, Dr. Yalçın Kalkan, and Dr. Muhsin Uğur Doğan.
Titled "Development of a New Module for Ionizing Radiation Detection System Using a Combination of Ga2O3-Based Photodiodes and Scintillators," the project aims to conduct R&D and product development activities for innovative technologies applicable in areas such as radiation monitoring and safety.
