Nuclear Radiation Detectors Center (NRDC) is an integral component within the Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University and is the largest national laboratory for development, researches and fabrication of radiation detectors and sensors. Faculty members from the Physics Department have joined the center as the charter member. NRDC is financially supported by Presidency of Turkey, Presidency of Strategy and Budget. It is an interdisipliner research center and the center consists of several research groups and laboratories with different but overlapping interests in development of radiation dosimeters. The fabrication and test facilities at NRDC are extensive and are also used to provide technology support services to industry and other academic research centres.
